Adventure of the Traveling Wiener

Happy Friday Everyone!!!!

This has been such a beautiful week here on the Central Coast of California!  We had record highs earlier this week, and now it is cooling down but it is still in the 70's which is PERFECT beach weather.  Today Chris and I decided to take Jixer to Morro Bay, so we could eat a good lunch and walk around Embarcadero (the street on the water front).

He loves to watch the birds before he runs through the flock!

Here he is in front of Morro Rock.  He did not care too much about the rock and mostly just wanted to get the birds and play in the water.  But he did stop long enough for Chris to snap this picture.

Jixer always looks so cute during candid shots!

Christopher took this photo of Jixer and me; you can see a little piece of Morro Rock and all three smoke stacks (famous landmark in Morro Bay)

He liked watching the boats come in and out of the bay.

Here I am with my cute little boy!  Enjoying the view of the ocean behind us and Morro Rock in front of us.

The two most handsome boys in the world!!!  Jixer loves his daddy!

Morro Bay is definitely worth a visit!  There is awesome food and great candy...especially the salt water taffy!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!!

~Best Wishes~

Adventures of the Traveling Wiener

Happy Wednesday!

This past weekend we took a trip to visit some of my family that live in Wofford Heights, which is a small town in California just outside of Kernville.  Still don't know where I am talking about?  It is about an hour outside of Bakersfield.
While we were there, we of course had to take Jixer down to the river.  It felt so nice to play around in the water since it was super hot out.

 Jixer enjoyed rock hopping.

This is one of the most beautiful rivers that I have ever visited!!

He is just too stinking cute!!!

Jixer is watching the birdies flying around.

Kern river is also one of the best rivers for white water rafting; you just have to go a little farther down the river for all of that fun.

For now, Jixer and I will stick to swimming in this part of the river.

I hope you all have a fabulous week, and take your pets out for their own adventure!

~Best Wishes~
