Tea Time

Wow! It seems like years since I posted the last 'tea time'. I am way overdue for some inspirational goodness, and knew I could not pass upfor the opportunity to share this message from my afternoon cup of tea.
I hope it is something that we can all remember!

Tea Time

Happy November!!!

Can you believe that it is already November, and that in two months it will be 2013?!?!  That is mind boggling for me!  Since it is November, that means it is a month of remembering what we are thankful for.  Something that we should do all year long, but is actually brought to the fore front of our minds by Thanksgiving (at least here in the USA).

With that being said, I was truly filled with happiness when I read my tea fortune last night!  I love my life, but I am a planner, and right now there is not much that I can plan out.  This drives me crazy, and makes it feel that I am not accomplishing anything.  Hopefully, the dust will soon settle and I will know where I can grow some roots down and finish my education.  Until then, I need to remember what I do have, and all of the things that I am still accomplishing.

That is where last night's tea fortune comes in.

So, as Dory would say "Just keep swimming!"

Tea Time

Another Monday is upon and that means it is 'tea time'!
Yes, it is that time of week again!  The time where I share with you the wisdom from one of my Yogi tea.

I don't know about you guys, but I love tea.  Especially the Yogi tea because it is like a fortune cookie mixed with tea....and who doesn't like getting the fortune from fortune cookies?

This is a great tea fortune!  It is important not to get so wrapped up in our lives that we forget that there are others who need our help.  Maybe they just need our love and support, or maybe they need something else. I believe that when you give what you can, when you can, then you will be given what you need, when you need it.

Tea Time

Happy Monday!!!

I hope that you had a great weekend!  I had a fabulous Saturday, at Firestone Walker Brewing Company's Oaktoberfest held at the Avila Beach Golf Resort.  It does not get much better than a beer festival with 80 degree weather and a view of the beach.
Going Clockwise:
1- I am giving Christopher a smooch, and he is quite happy!
2 - I was sad that I did not dress up, so I took my picture with two pretty ladies who did.
3 - Photo op with a brewer from Firestone.
4 - Photo op with the winner of the lederhosen contest.
5 - Chris and me cheering each other with our first beer of the day.

I know that it has been a couple of weeks since I posted about Yogi wisdom, so I thought that I better get back into the swing of things.

Please, do not forget to include yourself in the 'all' stated!  You are very important and need to take care of yourself along with others.  Maybe make your 'tea time' into 'me time'.  Enjoying a hot cup of tea in your own spot to reflect on your needs can be very rewarding.  Do not let your needs become lost!

Tea Time

Happy Sunday!!!

It has been a great weekend so far, here on the sunny California coast.  I have been working on headbands and a baby afghan to sell in my new Etsy shop ChirpinBirdie.  There are some crochet scarves and headbands already available...stop by and take a look!

I am blogging today because I feel the need to share some wisdom from my Yogi tea.  I don't know about you, but I could always use some words of inspiration!

This helps me to remember to give all that I have in every situation, and not dwell on things I want or think I need.  I hope this inspires you too!

Tea Time

Hello All!

I know that I am a day late again...sorry about that!  I got caught up in the weekend because Christopher is finally home!  It is great not only to have him back in the United States, but also in California again (it has been two years since he moved out of CA).

So, that is my excuse...Christopher is home and we were able to enjoy the beach together again!

It is so nice to have our family together again!

My boys :)

Jixer likes roasted seaweed, but the raw seaweed must taste funny.

And even though it is Tuesday, here is your Yogi Tea wisdom for the week.

I hope you all have a fabulous week!

Tea Time

Happy Monday!

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!  My weekend was filled with Legoland, beer pairing dinner, and the beach; it does not get much better than that.

Today's tea wisdom is from my tea last night, and I do not think it could have come at a better time.

I hope that I can remember this through my new endeavours.  If this speaks to you, I hope you are able to keep this in mind too!

Have a wonderful week!

Tea Time

Happy Monday Everyone!!!

This is an especially happy Monday for me because it is my birthday!  Not just a birthday, but my golden birthday!  For that reason, I wanted to pick a quote today that I can remember all year long.

I think this fits the bill.  I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Tea Time

Hello Everyone!!! And Happy Monday!!!

Sorry about being MIA lately....still no internet at home.  Things should start picking back up though since I will be at my sister's house all summer and they have internet!  For now, I am doggy-sitting for some friends for a week and am loving having internet again!
Here is my Yogi tea quote of the week:

Have a wonderful week!!!

I will be back in a couple of days to post about my stay here with the doggies.  Two of the dogs are 140lbs each and I am getting big dog fever!!!

Tea Time

Happy Monday!

It is also Memorial Day, so let us remember those who allow us to live the lives we lead in America.

Being courageous is often hard, but always pays off!

Enjoy your week everyone!
